‘A great incentive for all children age 7+ to get active’

A 3km obstacle run.

Especially for schools.

Gung-Ho! provides a huge amount of motivation and increased confidence for participants. The achievement of completing our course is now open to all school children.

We are inviting schools to take on the Gung-Ho! challenge as an exclusive event designed specifically for them. The course will still have all of the fun of our massive set of inflatable obstacles, with the distance set at 3k.

We know the important role schools play in giving children the foundation for lifelong participation in physical activity. We are opening up Gung-Ho! just for schools so they can use our course as a massive motivating factor for all school children age 7 plus.

“Our pupils are very excited. We are using Gung-Ho! as an incentive to encourage participation in physical activity across the school. We have a number of pupils who don't take part in any clubs and this event has sparked their interest. It would be an event for both pupils and staff.”

Gung-Ho! Active Schools helps your school

Learning & Leadership

Taking on Gung-Ho! as a physical activity will help each young person develop and apply a broad range of skills in different contexts — enhancing their creative, social and thinking skills. Completely accessible to all fitness levels & abilities, teams will be required to support each other over a challenging 3km course, whilst encouraging communication and leadership development in an exciting environment. They also begin to gain an understanding of the positive benefits of being physically active.

Exercise, Engagement, Enjoyment

Gung-Ho! is fun and engaging. It is a non-traditional/alternative activity that gets children and young people excited about being active. Gung-Ho! can be used as a reward at the end of a training programme, a target for all children to aim towards. Existing running or sporting clubs can get involved with their team at Gung-Ho! Pupils, parents and teachers can take on the course together.

Motivation & Reward

Every person that takes part in the Gung-Ho! Active Schools event will be awarded with an exclusive Gung-Ho! winners headband and completion certificate at the end of the race. Our finish line includes a foam party finish that makes for a great photo opportunity. In addition to your own photographs and selfies we will have a photographer on site and we can give each school access to these photographs and supply photo prints as required.

Coaching, Competition, Clubs

Gung-Ho! can build on the competition introduced in PE. The focus is on fun and the personal challenge involved in completing the course. The inclusive format of Gung-Ho! enable every child to complete the 3k course and achieve their own personal best.

Entry Fee

£15 per person We want as many people as possible to take part in the Gung-Ho! Schools Active event so while all of the fun remains we have reduced the entry fee so that it is less than half of the standard fee that the general public will pay for the regular Gung-Ho! event.

3km. Some HUGE inflatables.

Have you got what it takes?

From huge slides to enormous spiky balls, there's plenty of challenges to be found on the Gung-Ho! Active Schools course.

Every obstacle is designed for the maximum amount of fun, with no mud, paint or water to worry about.

Checkout some of the inflatables and see what challenges lay ahead!
