Why join the Gung-Ho! Training Programme?

Start with a mix of running & walking and build up slowly. This program is for anyone so you don't need to have any running experience to begin!

All you need is a pair of trainers and an mp3 player. You don't even need to be a Gung-Ho! customer. You just need to want to make a change in your life for the better!

We'll show you where to look to get all the information you need. Using the free NHS / BBC Couch to 5K app you'll get a 'personal trainer' telling you exactly when to walk and when to run.

What is the programme?


We promote the 9 week NHS Couch to 5K training package.
Designed to take you from zero to hero whilst avoiding injuries and maximising improvements to your health. We'll show you where to find a FREE fitness app and we'll stay in touch by email & on our FREE Facebook Group to keep you motivated as you train.

What's involved?


The programme includes a FREE NHS/BBC smartphone app & set of podcasts to coach and guide you through 3 runs per week, with a day of rest in between. You'll build up to running 5K (or 30 minutes) in a safe and supported way thats suitable for all ages & fitness levels. You even get a 'personal coach' telling you exactly when to run and when to walk!

We take our responsibilities seriously when it comes to your health. You'll be following a program that you can trust - having been developed by medical & fitness professionals and endorsed and managed by the NHS & BBC. Our role is simply to show you the path and encourage you along your journey!
